With 60,000 Beluga Whales filling the Hudson Bay and Polar Bears leaving the pan ice, summer is the perfect time to visit Churchill. Let our experienced guides take you on jet boat tours of the Bay and river estuaries where you’ll see countless Beluga Whales. See Polar Bears in their summer environment on the rocks and swimming in the water.

Whale lovers, this is your chance to be in the heart of all the action when 60,000 Beluga Whales (the highest concentration in the world!) descend upon Hudson Bay. You can add on additional tours to Kayak and Snorkel with these beautiful creatures and our experienced guide will take you on a boat tour to their favourite sites. On land, you’ll see the historic sites of Churchill and wind down in the serenity of the Lazy Bear Lodge.

The Lazy Bear Wilderness Expedition is for those who are active, love nature and are up for a physical challenge. It is not for the faint of heart. You’ll spend time camping, hiking, kayaking and exploring parts of the boreal forest virtually untouched since they were discovered in the 18th century. Throughout the week you’ll travel by plane, jet boat, kayak and possibly a Huck Finn-styled raft in a once-in-a-lifetime arctic adventure. Spaces on these expeditions are extremely limited, so book your spot well in advance.
