Canada-Italy Innovation Award 2018. The Winners

The Embassy of Canada is pleased to announce the winners of the Canada-Italy Innovation Award 2018. The Award, whose aim is to strengthen the ties between the two countries in the fields of Science, Technology and Innovation, has continued to experience a marked success in its sixth year, both due to the significant number of applications received and to their high quality. The Embassy thanks all the participants for their interest in Canada and hopes that collaboration initiatives between the two countries continue to flourish.

The winners of the Canada-Italy Innovation Award 2018 are:

Matteo Colli of the University of Genova for a project with the Université du Québec à Montréal, QC, in the priority area Emerging Technologies;

Irene Ponzo of the University of Rome Tor Vergata for a project with the Royal Institution for the Advancement of Learning McGill University, QC, in the priority area Emerging Technologies;

Simona Zambelli of the University of Bologna for a project with York University, ON, in the priority area Gender Equality;

Veronica Termopoli of the University of Urbino "Carlo Bo" for a project with the Vancouver Island University, BC, in the priority area Emerging Technologies;

Luca Iocchi of the University Sapienza of Rome, for a project with the English Montreal School Board, RoboCup 2018 Montreal, QC, in the priority area New ways of learning.

Prix Canada-Italie pour l’Innovation 2018. Les gagnants

L’Ambassade du Canada a le plaisir d’annoncer les noms des gagnants du Prix Canada-Italie pour l’Innovation 2018. Le Prix, créé dans le but de renforcer les liens entre les deux pays dans les domaines de la science, de la technologie et de l’innovation, a remporté un grand succès au cours de cette sixième édition, étant donné le grand nombre de demandes reçues et leur qualité très élevée. L’Ambassade remercie tous les participants pour l’intérêt à l’égard du Canada, tout en souhaitant que la collaboration entre les deux pays continue de se développer.

Les gagnants du Prix Canada-Italie pour l’Innovation 2018 sont :
